Whoof is a new concept for the state of Maryland: a place for both dogs and their owners to socialize, with perks, organized play times for dogs of different ages, access to special services like training and agility classes, exercise classes for owners and their dogs, visits from local food vendors and artisans! And all with a social purpose to promote dog adoption and support our local rescue organizations and fosters.  It is socialization with a social mission.  That’s Whoof!

Development of Whoof Park is now being spearheaded by Friends of Whoof, a 501(c)(3) organization, which means we put our mission first. Our mission is not only to create a place where dogs in need of a home might find one.  We are also about creating a place where pups are an integral part of family life. Whoof will work with local rescue organizations to plan adoption events, and evaluate adoptable dogs for honorary memberships.
